Comfort Suites Golden West on Evergreen Parkway

Came in w/o a reservation at 1:00 in the morning. Jacob M. was at the front desk and was extremely helpful and wonderful - Thank you! The room was clean and VERY nice! On the negative side: We found the room kind of chilly, the heat unit was off -not a problem at first, we like a cool sleeping room, but still a wee bit of heat was desired. Problem: The heat unit is not thermostat-driven. We turned it on very low heat - as low as the controls seemed to allow. We were awakened at 4:30a in an uncomfortably warm room. Otherwise Thumbs Up!

(My real name is Anna fyi). We stayed here for our 2nd year wedding anniversary for the last 2 days. We got the room with the jetted tub and fireplace inside the room. OMG, that was the most incredible and romantic room, and I absolutely loved it! I can't wait to stay again. I'm not used to super fancy things like this, so it meant the world to me that we could find a place like this that was within our budget. I almost booked at ameristar in black hawk but they charge more than twice as much for a similar room for just 1 night. So we were able to extend our vacation by another day. And this was especially priceless to us because we didn't get to do anything romantic last year for our first year wedding anniversary due to not having a babysitter. Anyway! This entire lodge is absolutely beautiful and so cozy. It looks rustic with its log features, built back into the trees with a beautiful view, and very clean. It was really quiet the entire time we were there as well. I don't think I even heard another person! Also, every single employee that I had the pleasure of meeting was so friendly, kind, and more than helpful. That alone can make or break someone's experience, and it made our stay just that much better. So, thanks for being so great to us you guys! I included pictures of the room and some last minute photos of the front of the building on our way out. They're not the greatest, but I just wanna say 5 stars all around. The only reason I gave 4 stars for location is that when we opened the window, we could hear all the cars on the highway. However, that did not bother us, because we were so comfortable in our room, and we just had a fantastic time. I wish I had gotten the chance to use the outdoor hot tub (which is awesome that they have btw!) with how cold its been. However I had the jetted tub in my room, so I was plenty content.

This started out as a 5-star review until I came down to the “complimentary breakfast” This is a beautiful hotel with nice room and comfortable beds in a super cool location. The staff was helpful and friendly The complimentary breakfast was completely gone by the time we got there at 9:00. Cereal, but no milk. Gravy, but no biscuits. Waffles, but no syrup. No eggs or sausage left. So breakfast choices were yogurt and bowl of fruit. Breakfast was supposedly still opened, but just nothing left.

I stayed four days, great location, great rooms, only issue was that the breakfast was adequate, and that the cooklady had a bad attitude. Everybody in the breakroom had complained about that.

Great, helpful staff! Cookies and lemon infused water in the lobby, great indoor pool and hot tub, sauna and outdoor hot tub plus a good gym room. The lobby smelled wonderful and the room was fresh and clean. They have limited channels on Dish network, but that made us rewatch a couple of movie classics that we might not have otherwise thought of. The forest view from the balcony is awesome and a whole cozy cabin vibe. Just around the corner from stores including Walmart, if you forgot anything for your trip. Nice complimentary breakfast, too. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Stayed here while attending a show at Red Rocks. The hotel is very clean and well taken care of. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff was top notch. Special shout out to Holly and Danielle for being so awesome and extremely helpful when I was having trouble booking. They are a prime examples of excellent customer service. The location was super convenient for us as Red Rocks was just short drive away. Perfect for getting out of the hustle bustle of the cities. We will definitely be back!

This is one of the VERY BEST hotels I have ever stayed at. I'm not talking fancy or luxurious, but what was most important to me was the gorgeous surroundings, the pool and indoor/outdoor hot tub worked great along with their dry sauna, breakfast provided every morning, the staff was very friendly, and the cherry on top is that it is pet friendly with a super convenient door to the patio at ground level to let the dogs out, they provide a plastic bag station to pick up after your pets, which worked out perfectly because we had nobody to dog sit for us because of the holiday so they came with us to end the year and start the new year as well. Thank you, keep up the great work!
